Dr Kyriakos Hadjiyiannis studied Mechanical Engineering, Economics and Political Science at the University of Stuttgart and holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Tübingen in Germany.
Since 2006, he has been serving as a Member of Parliament with the Democratic Rally (DISY). He is the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism, and a member of the Parliamentary Committee on Internal Affairs and the Parliamentary Committee on Agriculture and Natural Resources. He also serves as a member of the Cypriot delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the OSCE (PA OSCE).
