Dr. N. Lymperopoulos is a former Project Officer at the Clean Hydrogen Joint Undertaking. He is a Mechanical Engineer involved in the field of energy and the environment for more than 38 years. For the last 25 years, he has been working on Hydrogen energy technologies, initially leading a section at the Greek national Centre for Renewable Energy Sources and then as Director for Projects at the UNIDO International Centre for Hydrogen Energy Technologies in Istanbul that addressed Developing World Countries. In 2013 he joined the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen JU (today Clean Hydrogen JU) putting his experience to good use in supporting European R&D in renewable Hydrogen production and Sectoral Integration through Hydrogen. He monitored projects on large and innovative electrolysers for hydrogen production and recently hydrogen combustion in gas turbines.
