Apostolos Apostolakis

    Apostolos Apostolakis is a water and wastewater specialist with over 25 years of experience in potable water treatment, desalination, irrigation systems, and advanced wastewater process management. Over the past two decades he has worked across Greece and internationally, supporting both public-sector utilities and private operators in modernizing water infrastructure.

    He is currently with SAUR, where for the past 20 months he has focused on developing low-energy, high-efficiency water and wastewater solutions that support climate resilience and the green transition. His work emphasizes smart water management, water reuse, and technologies that reduce the energy and carbon footprint of water and wastewater operations.

    He holds a degree in Political Science and History from Panteion University and an MBA in International Business from the University of East London, and speaks Greek, English and German.
