Charles Purkess joined ITM in November 2008, he is Business Development Manager covering the UK, Eastern Europe and also for Australia, where he is Director of ITM’s subsidiary ITM Power Pty, that he helped develop and was established in 2018. Prior to joining ITM Power, Charles spent 12 years in environmental consultancy specialising in environmental liability associated with hydrocarbons for the investment, insurance, transport and fuel sectors.
ITM Power was founded in 2000and admitted to the London Stock Exchange in 2004. Headquartered in Sheffield, England, ITM designs and manufactures electrolysers based on its proton exchange membrane (PEM) technology to produce green hydrogen, the only net zero energy gas, using renewable energy and water.
