
Constantina Skanavi is a Professor of Environmental Communication, Education and Training, Head of the Environmental Communication and Training Research Unit, Chair of the Department of Public and Community Health at the University of West Attica.
For the first 14 years of her academic career, she held a professorship at California State University of Los Angeles. From 2001-2019, she was a faculty member of the Department of Environment at the University of the Aegean and Director of the Environmental Communication and Education Laboratory. Since 2019, she has been a faculty member in the Department of Public and Community Health at the University of West Attica. She has many years of independent teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate level in the fields of Environmental Communication, Teaching, Education, Education and Health as well as in Health and Public Health Sciences. She has published more than 200 Greek and foreign language papers, most of them in peer-reviewed journals that are indexed in scientific databases. She has also been invited as a lecturer in many conferences and has given hundreds of lectures in America, Europe, Asia and Africa (more than 300).
