Dr. Efstathios Stavrakis is a co-founder and Senior Scientist at Algolysis Ltd, a Cyprus-based SME applying AI and data processing to digital agriculture. He leads EU- and Nationally-funded R&D projects on smart farming and livestock monitoring, spanning IoT sensors, UAV-based field inspection, and decision-support data pipelines. His work integrates edge computing, machine learning, and data analytics to deliver solutions that improve productivity and resource efficiency in agriculture. With a computer science background and more than 20 years in R&D, he strives to deliver AI-driven, data-centric solutions that empower farmers, reduce environmental impact, and support Cyprus’s green and digital transition in line with the European sustainability agenda.
