Mr. Fanos Karantonis is an Electrical and Electronic Engineer, graduated from the University of Nottingham (MEng). At the beginning of his career (2007) he worked in the industrial automation and production processing sector in Cyprus. Mr. Karantonis has gained vast experience while working in Renewables and Energy Efficiency Sectors. From 2010 until present he is the Managing Director of M.G.F.K ENERGY LTD, a company with a vision to deliver a viable environment to the future generations via sustainable development of Energy Saving Solutions and the use of Renewable Energy Sources.
He has been working in the field of renewables and energy efficiency the last 15 years, in large green projects, but also in the field of green energy supply as the COO of Evergy Ltd.
He is the Chairman of the Cyprus Renewable Energy Enterprises Association (SEAPEK) and the Chairman of the Cyprus Association of Electricity Market Participants (SAH).
