Georgia Christofidou

Georgia Solomonidou Christofidou is the Director of Sustainable Development in the General Development Department.

She is involved in the coordination of the Green Deal, the new EU Development Strategy for climate neutrality. She is also responsible for promoting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). For many years she was responsible for promoting Corporate Social Responsibility in Cyprus. She has also contributed to the promotion of the legislative framework for social enterprises. She has long experience in strategic planning and European resource management.
