Nicolas Christodoulides

    Nicolas is a Senior ESG analyst at Bank of Cyprus and is responsible for the coordination and implementation of the ESG agenda of the Organisation. Nicolas is currently responsible for the estimation of Greenhouse Gas Emissions based on Greenhouse protocol and Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials (Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions), the production of TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures), compliance with NFRD (Non-Financial Reporting Directive) requirements and GRI standards (Global Reporting Initiative). Nicolas is also involved in several other ESG projects currently undertaken by the Bank.

    Nicolas is an ICAEW Qualified Chartered Accountant with more than six years of experience in a Big Four accounting firm. Nicolas has accumulated significant experience in auditing and has lead several long-term cross-functional IFRS 17 consulting projects in Cyprus and abroad. As part of the Assurance team, Nicolas supported several Life and Non-Life Insurers to implement the new multi-disciplinary and data intensive reporting Standard for Insurance contracts (IFRS 17). Nicolas holds a bachelor degree in Business administration from University of Cyprus.
