Wout Hoff, Groasis CEO, has sixteen years experience at multinationals (bp, INEOS) in the renewable energy and chemicals industry. Before joining the corporate world, from the age of 18 Wout ran his own web design company. He completed a Master in Innovation at Rotterdam School of Management/Erasmus University and a Master in International Management at CEMS. Wout has an established track record in entrepreneurship, sales, corporate strategy and planning, delivering projects and managing operational risk. He speaks 6 languages.
His focus at Groasis, since the end of 2021, is on reducing the cost of Groasis’ technology to make it affordable for all to plant trees, bushes, and vegetables on degraded land without irrigation; on building an effective sales and marketing organization that will underpin realizing the Treesolution (restoring 2 billion hectares of degraded land to address climate change, hunger, poverty, and biodiversity loss), and on identifying and contracting Licensed Producers to support large scale implementation of the Groasis Technology.
