Ms. Yianna Economidou holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Imperial College London, a Master’s in Environmental Management and Protection (Energy and Pollution) from the Open University of Cyprus, and an MBA from Cornell University, USA. She has extensive experience in water management, having served in key roles at the Water Development Department and the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, where she focused on the formulation and implementation of water management policies and strategies. Before joining the public sector, Ms. Yianna Economidou worked in investment banking at international banks in London and New York. She is currently a Senior Executive Engineer and Head of the Division of Irrigation Works, overseeing policy development and coordination in sustainable irrigation and water governance.
