    Sustainable Finance Conference

    Green and Sustainable Finance Conference

The need for a more sustainable economy has move to the top of the agenda, as the consequences of climate change and environmental degradation become more severe.

The transition to a sustainable economy requires intensification of the financing of investments that provide environmental and social benefits.
In this context, the Conference “Green and Sustainable Finance: Finance for a Sustainable Future” aims to ignite the discussion about sustainable finance and the current opportunities it can offer. The one-day event will host a variety of speakers covering different areas of the topic. The two of the keynote speakers come from the UK and Ireland, originating from the banking and financial sector, providing their experiences and practical knowledge on the subject.

The Conference will host senior decision makers from the private sector, policymakers, finance, and experts from various fields. As a result, the event will act as an opportunity for the country’s stakeholders to gain more insight into sustainable finance topics, to share knowledge and to discuss the challenges they may face, with and experts from UK, Ireland, Cyprus and other countries.

The Conference is supported by the British High Commission in Nicosia and it is organised by ideopsis Ltd and Grand Thornton (Cyprus) Ltd
